# OneLedger

> OneLedger (https://oneledger.in) is cloud business software for Indian jewellers, pawn brokers and gold loan lenders, made by SAER Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It replaces the paper girvi register and billing book with one secure online system that works on mobile and computer, in Hindi and English.

## Glossary

- Girvi (गिरवी): a loan given against pledged gold or silver jewellery, common in Indian jewellery shops. Also called a pawn loan or gold loan.
- Girvi register: the traditional book in which pawn brokers record girvi loans; OneLedger is a digital girvi register.
- HUID: Hallmark Unique ID, the 6-character BIS hallmark code on gold jewellery in India.
